名词后缀（一）

1.-an：

electrician n.电工；电气技师

E.g. The electrician took the houselights down.

电工将剧场中观众席上的灯光减弱了一点。

physician n. [医]医师，内科医师

E.g. He prefers to be a surgeon rather than a physician.

他喜欢当外科医生而不愿作内科医生。

2.-ant,-ent：

applicant n.申请人

E.g. The job applicant must have good verbal skills.

correspondent n.通信者
