My Experience as an English Learner

I began learning English in the middle school. Soon I became veryinterested in it. English exams were very easy to me and I always got thehighest marks in my class. Then I succeeded in the College Entrance Examinationand was admitted into a college.

In the college, however, English seemed more and more difficult. Instead oflearning grammar, I had to read long articles full of new words and strangesentence patterns. Listening was not easy, either. But I kept on working hard.With the help of my English teacher, I really made great progress.

Besides reading and listening, I hope to improve my spoken and writtenEnglish. Our country will keep its “reform and opening policy” to the outsideworld and every field needs a lot of people who master English. I am going to beone of such people in the future.
