在广西的龙脊梯田，很多外国的背包客回千里迢迢来到这里，久居山间农家，下地种田，吃竹筒饭，观人间奇景，旅居山间是很好的放松身心，加深对于少数民族文化洞察的方式，同时，旅行对于地方的经济有利好，例如，游客的住宿，餐饮，购物增加了地方人的收入。对于很多富人，购物之旅已无吸引力，他们宁可花上一大笔钱去南极探险，去非洲探险，甚至，企业家包机去无人岛探险。旅行带来他们新鲜体验，满足他们的好奇心。小鹏哥去不了南极，但是，我很想去漠河北极村，那里滴水成冰，如果可以住在冰屋里，一定是奇特的人生体验。

但是，没有不长杂草的花园，荒野探险，极地探险，背包客穿越原始森林，这类旅行其实是刺激和风险并存，游客的安全有时候难以保障。例如，我读过一个故事，一群旅友去四姑娘山穿越森林探险，一度迷路，走了一个礼拜才脱离险境。同时，对于旅游景区来说，日益增多的游客可能对生态环境造成不良的影响，此外，在增加旅游收入的同时，也可能使当地人增加对于外来旅游收入的依赖。

The market for tourism in remote areas with natural beauty is booming at astartling rate. Today，wilderness tourism or adventure tourism has been drawingadventurers to the frontier's glaciated peaks, untouched wilderness. People havebeen debating for many years the pros and cons of exploring those remote areaswith breath-taking landscape. Personally speaking, those adventurous activitiesbenefit adventurers and local population over the long term.

Seen from the positive aspects，many benefits could be gained via exploringthose eye-catching regions. First，as for high-spending tourists, to explore theunknown such as South Pole or Africa is a kind of worthwhile adventure.Traveling exposes them to new places and unique cultures. It is rewarding forthem to read about mysterious regions, but， it is even better to visit there inperson. What travelers learn by meeting local people and absorbing the cultureof these places is something they could not learn in books. For example, myfriend Paul is a self-travel fancier, he was drawn to many destinations by theirnatural landscape and attractive cultures of indigenous people. Secondly，tourismhas a key role to play in boosting the local economy. Specifically, theprosperity of tourism has been the prime source of income because visitors willseek accommodations, buy souvenirs or visit the local people’s homes orperformances.

Indeed，there is no garden without weeds. First, traveling to those remoteor untouched regions sometimes might expose explorers to dangers they are notoriginally expected to or prepared to defend against. The debate reminds me of astory, a group of self-travelers took a adventure trip in an unexploitedmountain without employing an experienced guide， they encountered someunexpected dangers，which even threatened their lives. Further, those whodwelling in fragile environment sometimes has increased their dependence on theexternal tourism income when tourism has penetrated their homelands. It is adanger if the tourism season is over.

尾段：再次亮明作家立场

Overall，there will have more adventurous travels because people’s desire toexplore the unknown will never disappear. Curious explorers should raise theirself-protection awareness. Meanwhile, efforts should be made to reduce theover-dependence on tourism income.
