Mirror这道雅思口语题应该是出题官哪天在对着镜子刷牙或者看着身边的美女补妆，一拍脑门想出来的话题。估计以后还会出现socks或者soap之类的家居生活用品吧…… Anyways，先准备起来吧!

1. How often do you look at yourself in the mirror every day?

Well, several times I guess. I mean, when I’m freshening up in the morning or before I go to bed, I would check myself in the mirror. And before I go out, I would make sure if I look all right. And other times during the day when I want to check my appearance, I would just open up my camera app and use that as a mirror.

Freshen up/freshen yourself up: to wash and make yourself look clean and tidy例如：

I’ll just go and freshen up before dinner.

Is there anywhere I can freshen myself up?

2. Do you usually look at yourself in the mirror?

Well, not really. I don’t usually pay much attention to my appearance, I mean, as long as I look tidy and clean, that would be good enough for me. And I’m not that narcissistic, unlike some girls who would check themselves constantly, touching up their make-up in the mirror and take selfies all the time.

Narcissistic: having the habit of admiring yourself too much, especially your appearance

Touch something up: to improve something by changing or adding to it slightly例如：

She was busy touching up her make-up in the mirror.

3. Do you always have a mirror with you?

Never, mirrors are kind of fragile, I mean, they could easily be broken. I think it’s not that convenient, or safe to carry them around. So I never take a mirror with me. Just like I said, when I need to use one, I just take out my phone and use the front-facing camera as a mirror.

4. Have you ever bought mirrors? / How often do you buy mirrors?

No, when the mirrors in my home need replacing, it’s always my mom’s job to buy new ones.

当然也可以说When I shop online, little mirrors always come as giveaways.

Giveaway: something that a company gives free, usually with something else that is for sale 例如：

There’s a giveaway with our magazine next month—a free CD!

5. Do you think mirrors can be used to decorate rooms?

Yeah, definitely. Mirrors on the wall could always make the room seem brighter and more spacious. And some specially designed mirrors in unique shapes and colors could act as adornments in a house, especially at night when the lights are turned on, the visual effects would be awesome.

Adornment: something that is used to decorate another thing to make it look more attractive 例如：

A plain necklace was her only adornment.
