I’d like to talk about the football match I watched with my ex.

He’s a huge fan of Brazil national football team, and every World Cup, he would stay up late rooting for his favorite team. He would even bet his money on the final score of the game.

That was 3 years ago, when Brazil was playing against Germany, and we all know the final score, it was a huge disaster for Brazil, if I remember right, it was 1 to 7, which is something that’s never happened to Brazil team. My ex said, and I quote, it was a huge humiliation.

Because of the time difference, we had to watch the game after midnight, when I was super sleepy. But luckily, soon after the match, Brazil scored one goal, and you can imagine how thrilled my ex was, he jumped up and down, yelling to the screen, and he was like, ‘yeah’. But later, Germany scored one goal as well, so we were like ‘Oh’. And the tie, I mean the score 1 to 1, lasted for a really long time. And for a few times, I just nodded off. When I woke up, the score was still 1 to 1. I started to feel bored, although my ex was still sitting on the edge of the seat.

When I woke up, the game was over. And I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard the final score. My ex was so upset.

I remember this game quite well because it was one of the few times that I watched a football match, and the score is really dramatic.
