在雅思口语Part 2，“作对比”是一个非常好用的把话题说长的方法。大家一定要牢记，Part 2的长度很重要，一定要保证。虽然考官会在考场跟你说，“Now I’m going to give you a topic to talk about for 1 to 2 minutes.”但是大家一定要注意!他在骗你!他真正的意思是，“说到两分钟直到我打断你!”所以一定要掌握好如何把Part 2唠叨满两分钟的技能。

这个“作对比”其实还算挺好用的，例如说something you do to stay healthy，可以说过去的健康状况跟现在的对比;an English lesson，可以说其他老师的英文课和“这位”老师的英文课;invention可以讲没有它之前和有了它之后的对比;two people from the same family，可以人物的外貌性格爱好对比啊;还有recent change，明摆着就是聊对比嘛。

“转学或搬家的经历”，也可以发挥一下对比的功能。这样就相当于在两分钟内描述了两个东西，难度是不是降低了呢!

Well, I’d like to talk about the first time I moved to a big house.

When I was little, well, during primary school, I used to live in a super small apartment. There was only one living room and a bathroom, no bedrooms or kitchen at all. We slept, cooked, ate and watched TV in the same room, you can imagine how cramped it was, right?

But after my father became a professor, things started to get better. Every month, he made much more money to support us, and gradually, we moved to a bigger apartment in a much better equipped community.

And it was also the first time I had my own bedroom, and I could finally decorate my little space as I wanted. And if I want to spend time alone, I could have some me-time in my room.

Living in such a spacious apartment can really give me a good mood. And the views outside my bedroom window are pretty attractive. There are flowers and greenery growing in my community, so it’s just like a small garden downstairs. Every morning, I could go jogging in the neighborhood, which is quite refreshing. It’s the best way to start a day, you know.

So thanks to this new apartment, I feel like my quality of life has improved dramatically.

cramped = a cramped room, etc. does not have enough space for the people in it 例如：

working in cramped conditions

me-time = time when a person who is normally very busy relaxes or does something they enjoy 例如：

The spa is popular with women who want a bit of me-time.

Me-time needs to be part of your regular routine.

spacious = (of a room or building) large and with plenty of space for people to move around in = roomy 例如：

The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable.

greenery = attractive green leaves and plants 例如：

The room was decorated with flowers and greenery.

refreshing = making you feel less tired or hot 例如：

a refreshing drink/ shower

The breeze was cool and refreshing.
