One advantage of students having TV in their dorms is that watching TV is agood way for students to relax and be informed. Students' lives are hectic. Theyhave a lot of schoolwork to deal with every day. So if they can watch somecomedies to unwind and have a laugh, they will be less stressed out. Newsprograms like BBC news can also keep their updated with current news events. Onthe other hand, however, some students might abuse their TV time and end upwatching TV all day. If that's the case, their studies will be compromised.
