时光匆匆，2016即将到来，12月19日的托福考试也是2015年的倒数第二场考试了。今天又考到了我们上课反复强调过的“食物”和“学习习惯”的问题了。各位高徒考的怎么样呢？看到“fast food”心理有没有窃爽一下？快一起来看今天Brian老师带来的解析吧！

Task 1

题目

What are the advantages and disadvantages of having fast food？

吃快餐的好处和坏处分别是什么？

思路解析

Disadvantages不好的地方：

看到关键词“Food”，我们可以回想一下上课讲过的关于“食物”的素材。有哪些食品属于快餐呢？有Burgers、Sandwich、Pizza、French fries等等，而这些会导致一些非常不健康的后果，比如overweight和obesity（回忆一下，这两个词对于肥胖的程度描述有何区别？），甚至是diabetes等等。别忘了我们提到的“细节为王”，一定要说上一些fast food的名字，然后再说上几个可能导致的疾病的名字。

Advantages好的地方：

说到吃快餐的好处，我们一定不会想不出来。

第一，快餐相对来说便宜(cheap or economical)。第二，快餐吃起来省时间(time-saving)。第三，快餐店相对来说分布更广泛等等。

我们可以看到，第一和第二个理由都是我们所说的“万能理由”，可以和我们的学生身份联系起来：

作为一个学生，我没有什么钱。As a student， I don‘t have much money.

作为一个学生，我们的时间很宝贵。As a student， I don’t have much time to have meals in a regular restaurant.

范例

There are both advantages and disadvantages of eating fast food. One advantage is that eating fast food can be time-saving. You know， as a busy student， I often have many tasks to do and many courses to take， so there is little time for me to have a regular meal. However， when I go to a fast food restaurant， I can just take away a burger or a pie and eat it on my way to the classroom. This can be very convenient and efficient. The disadvantage is that fast food， especially fried chicken and French fries， can be very unhealthy since they contain too much fat. If I have fast food 3 times a day and 7 days a week， I will absolutely get overweight and even get diabetes. (130w)

题目

When having an assignment or project to do， some people prefer to finish it long before the due date， others prefer to start doing it right before the deadline. Which one do you prefer and why？

当有一个作业或任务时，有人喜欢在截止日期前很久就完成作业，有人喜欢快到截止日期才开始做。你喜欢哪个？为什么？

思路

在deadline前很久就完成作业有什么好处呢？

好处1，我们可以很好地控制时间(I can have a better control of time)。有些作业可能只有开始做之后才能知道多久能完成，如果截止前才开始做很可能会错过deadline。在这里，我们其实可以讲一个故事，讲一个Brian曾经因为快到截止日期才开始做，所以错过了deadline的故事。

好处2，我们可以不断润色修改，直到满意为止。

喜欢快到deadline才开始做有什么好处呢？

好处1，我们可能会效率相当的高(high efficiency)，因为假如还完不成就真的Dead了。

好处2，平时省下来的时间可以做很多其他的事情呀(I can use the time saved to do many other things of interest)，比如看书、锻炼、逛街。在这一条论证的时候，我们可以用上“学生很忙”的论据。

***记住：Task2是personal preference，永远都是2选1的形式。我们最保险、最有话可说的方式就是利用A+B-的论证结构，即：选A，说一个A的优点，一个B的缺点。选B，说一个B的优点，一个A的缺点。

范例

I prefer to finish the assignment long before the deadline coz I can have a better control of my time and would not miss the deadline. You know， sometimes it is hard for you to estimate how long you could finish the assignment before you start doing it， so chances are fat that you would probably miss the deadline if you procrastinate. Take my friend Brian as an example. Last semester， our Microbiology professor gave us an assignment to write a paper on SARS. Most students started doing it a month before the deadline while Brian insisted on starting 3 days before the due date， so there was little time for him to collect information from the internet， not to mention analyzing it. Finally， he handed in the paper a week after the deadline. There is not doubt that he failed the course. Had he started earlier like everyone else， he couldn‘t have missed the deadline. (156w)
